Job vacancies in INCOIS are announced via ADVT No. INCOIS: RMT: 08/2009. Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services invites job application for various posts - Category I: Scientist 'B', Category II Scientific Assistant 'B', Category III Accounts Officer and Category IV Office Assistant.

Qualification for job vacancies in INCOIS for Category I: Scientist 'B':

Engineering (M.Tech./Ph.D.) or science (Ph.D.) is required for the post. There are total 7 posts - (UR-4, OBC-2, and SC-1). Relevant experience will be considered for higher position which will be decided in interview.

Qualification for job vacancies in INCOIS for Category II Scientific Assistant 'B':

Candidates having essential qualification of first class B Sc (mathematics/physics/computer science) or First class B.Sc. with mathematics/physics/computer science as a major subject or First class diploma in civil engineering/ electronics/ electrical & electronics/ electronics & communications/ electronics & computer engineering or a Bachelor degree in library science. There are total 11 posts - (UR-6, OBC-3, SC-1, and ST-1)

Qualification for job vacancies in INCOIS for Category III Accounts Officer:

There is only 1 post for UR. Candidates should have knowledge of accounting. A candidate should be passed with commerce from any recognized University.

Qualification for job vacancies in INCOIS for Category IV Office Assistant:

There are total 6 posts - (UR-3, OBC-2, and SC-1). Candidates should have bachelor degree in commerce, arts or science from a recognized University along with diploma in computer applications from a recognized institute and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
